According to Novalis, Romanticism is a philosophical and artistic movement that emphasizes the importance of imagination, emotion, and individual experience. It seeks to transcend the limitations of reason and rationality, and instead embraces the irrational, the mysterious, and the spiritual. Novalis believed that Romanticism was a way to reconnect with the divine and to find meaning in a world that was becoming increasingly mechanized and materialistic. He saw Romanticism as a way to access a deeper, more authentic truth about the human experience. **

This statement by Novalis should be understood as emphasizing the importance of embracing the unknown and mysterious aspects of life. By suggesting that "philosophy can bake no bread," Novalis is highlighting the limitations of rational thought and the need to look beyond mere intellectual pursuits for fulfillment. Instead, he encourages a more holistic approach to life that includes embracing the beauty and wonder of the world around us. Ultimately, the statement serves as a reminder to seek meaning and nourishment in experiences that go beyond the confines of traditional philosophical inquiry. **

A full-frame DSLR or mirrorless camera with a wide-angle lens would be a good choice for capturing the vastness of landscapes. For street photography, a compact and discreet camera with fast autofocus and good low-light performance is preferred.
